Terms and Conditions

These terms set out the agreement between Trade Found and our clients. They are designed to keep everything clear and fair. By working with us, you agree to these terms.

Effective from: 22/08/2025

1. Introduction

1.1 Overview

These terms govern the use of Trade Found’s services. By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them.

1.2 Services Provided

Trade Found offers SEO services and Google Business Profile setup and optimisation for tradespeople. Our services may be updated, adapted, or withdrawn at our discretion.

1.3 Client Responsibilities

You must provide accurate, complete information and respond to requests in a timely manner. Your cooperation is essential for us to deliver results. Delays or incomplete information may affect service quality and outcomes.

1.4 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Where significant changes are made, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice.

1.5 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in our materials, strategies, reports, and content belongs to Trade Found. You may not copy, reuse, or distribute our content without written consent.

2. Fees and Payments

2.1 Set-Up Fee

A one-off setup fee will be charged as agreed at the point of sale. This covers the initial optimisation of your Google Business Profile and associated setup work.

2.2 Ongoing Subscription

Monthly subscription fees cover ongoing optimisation, monitoring, and support. These are collected automatically via the agreed payment method.

2.3 Payment Terms

All fees are due in advance. If payments are missed, services may be suspended until payment is made. Persistent non-payment may lead to cancellation of services.

2.4 Refunds

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes partial or pro-rata refunds.

2.5 Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew monthly until cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Notice Period

You may cancel your subscription by giving 30 days’ notice in writing (email is acceptable). Services and billing will continue during this notice period.

3.2 Outstanding Fees

All fees must be up to date before cancellation can be processed. If overdue payments remain, subscription charges will continue to accrue until cleared.

3.3 No Refunds

Payments already made are non-refundable, including those made during the notice period.

3.4 Confirmation

Your cancellation will only take effect once we confirm receipt of your notice.

3.5 Chargebacks

If you initiate a bank chargeback instead of following our cancellation process, we reserve the right to charge a £50 administrative fee in addition to any outstanding fees.

3.6 Reactivation

If you wish to rejoin after cancellation, you will need to enter a new agreement. Setup fees and current terms will apply.

4. Google Business Profile Verification

4.1 Client Responsibility

Verification is carried out by Google and may require postal, phone, or email confirmation. It is your responsibility to complete this process and provide us with the necessary verification codes.

4.2 Delays

We will guide and support you through verification, but we cannot be held liable for delays, failed verifications, or suspensions caused by Google.

4.3 Additional Documentation

Google may request additional documents to confirm your business. It is your responsibility to provide these promptly.

4.4 Re-Verification and Suspensions

Google may suspend or request re-verification at any time. We will assist where possible, but additional fees may apply if extensive support is required.

5. Performance and Results

5.1 No Guarantees

We use proven methods to improve your online visibility. However, we cannot guarantee specific rankings or outcomes. Search results depend on many factors outside of our control, including Google’s algorithms and competitor activity.

5.2 Reporting

We provide regular performance updates, including ranking, traffic, and engagement data.

5.3 Client Involvement

Your success depends on your active involvement — such as responding to requests, providing business updates, and encouraging customer reviews. Clients who engage fully achieve the best results.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 General

Trade Found is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruptions, or reputational damage.

6.2 External Factors

We are not responsible for disruptions caused by Google, third-party providers, or changes to algorithms.

6.3 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the three months prior to the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
